This is one of my dog-eared recipes — I have been making these satays every summer for nearly two decades and they are always a hit. Thinly sliced beef is tossed in a Chinese 5-spice marinade and can be grilled or broiled, and comes with a peanut dipping sauce (which actually is a bunch of work, but we do it for you). A fresh cabbage and carrot slaw is on the side, with Asian dressing.
