Extra-Lean Stew Meat
Some kids grow up on hamburgers, I grew up on goulash. My dad’s goulash. I suppose you could say it was the “most accessible” option, if your other choices are sour cabbage or bean soup. This hearty soup has a long history, but its signature is meat slow-cooked until completely tender, seasoned with paprika and combined with potatoes, carrots and celery and served in a soup broth. This stew has nourished the human race for generations, young and old.
